You would think they would set up some lower limit tables for those of us who are simply pleasure gambIers. (maybe there wern't any) I was there on a holiday and some gaming tables were empty. I was there 6 hours and didn't hear any shouts of joy from a winner. This place doesn't even sound like a casino.
Minimum bets at table games are too high. I have been to most of the casinos on the east coast, from Atlantic city to Foxwoods in CT., and the next time we go for a road trip Hollywood Casino will be on my list of stops. After playing my favorite slots, I was wandering around and found an exit right to the horse racing! And although I didn't bet on any races, I truely enjoyed just watching them ponies run! The facility is laid out very well that even when I wasn't sure where I wandered from, I entered a door that led me right back into the slot floor, and following the advice from a staff to 'follow the red carpet, and you won't miss anything', I soon found my way back to my husband. But don't get me wrong, there was plenty there to keep me busy. I, on the other hand, have no interest in table games. His dealers were very skilled, and went above and beyond to make their guests feel comfortable. And although he didn't hit big, he was pleased with the excitement and personell. On a recent visit, my husband tried out one, well a few, of their 53 new table games. Hollywood Casino has hit the nail on the head with this win win situation.
